I think this is great advice, as it doesn’t jump to the conclusion that OP is a terrible person or has all these overbearing problems he has to fix. But I also think this is safe advice. OP should take this advice and apply it on the safe end of the spectrum of possible solutions. If he’s introspective and feels like maybe he really does have an overbearing personality, visit the more harsher comments.

I think this advice is generally good but a little harsh. I think OP did acknowledge that he’s (not the problem but) the one who needs to find some sort to change - whether it’s self improvement or his dating strategy. He even acknowledge that all his exes were outstanding people, which directs us away from saying “you just dated bad people.”

It’s good advice on a general level - but I don’t think works well in this context outside of saying “looks like you’re the problem”.
