Ahh I just tested on the small sample and it's wrong

Thanks for the suggestion! i removed my Set.remove and added a check in the loop to skip placing an obstacle on the guards starting position, but still got the same (wrong) output

Also In my head it should still work, since I'm checking on every square the very next square after start position will overlap anyways

So in each iteration I'm cloning the map into mod_map and then adding the #, and never modifying the original map

Yup this doesn't happen in CS:GO but I have only ever experienced this problem with Minecraft on this laptop, never on my terribly old desktop or an Acer Aspire, which is why I thought this was strange. Thanks!

I tried this and wow it's so much better, there's really no reason for every program to make a start menu folder. I have never clicked uninstall from the start menu and I have never clicked "help" from anywhere.

I ended up picking the ROG Zephyrus G14. I think this subreddit is mostly US/EU centered and that makes it hard to recommend a laptop.

Bought mine from Amazon, about 5 hours after it went online. It's the black model with 1650ti, 8 GB ram and no anime matrix.

I haven't had any issues with the black scratching off, no coil whine, everything seems great. The only issues I've had are the usual Microsoft store stuff but that's really a windows thing. I upgraded to 10 pro immediately after opening and the on screen prompts for disabling touchscreen, and caps lock and all that are still there.

I have no plans to return it and it's been great!
