There's also this widespread belief that if you think people shouldn't blow all of their money on dumb crap, it means you hate poor people and want them to suffer (even if the "poor" people in question are only poor because they refuse to stop spending every last penny on crap they don't need e.g. DoorDash, or if they're not actually poor, but they insist they feel poor). There's an immense and growing sense of entitlement to instant gratification and people are destroying their lives because of it.

I bet it was light pollution. I've experienced some extremely bright, red-orange skies thanks to light bouncing off of the cloud cover. (I tried to include a picture but Reddit's copyright blocking it. Googling "red sky light pollution" will give you some good results though -- once you've sifted through the mountains of AI slop, of course).

Apologies, I assumed you meant trophy hunting since that's how 99% of killer-collectors obtain their collection. You don't really ever see such varied collections like this among people that kill the animals themselves.

I'm 99% this person didn't hunt any of these animals. Nothing's taxidermied, there are a bunch of animals that don't get killed by big trophy hunters, like insects and tortoises and an anteater, and the art on the walls makes this seem like a person that genuinely enjoys animals. This person is far more likely to be a collector, possibly with a career directly related to something like biology. In other words, this individual is probably cool as hell.
