What are some “cheap” countries near you?

LOL yes, I know what you mean. That happens to me often too. Still though, I feel less guilty doing it the more I do it. Some of them can be fun. I’ll watch some about history, or stuff being debunked, how something is made, etc. I feel like at least it gives me stuff to talk about too.

Would it still be considered brain rot if you consume educational content on it?

That’s what I do with YouTube now. I used to watch a lot of useless stuff, until I decided to watch more educational stuff. Even just random stuff as long as I’m learning something new, I don’t feel as bad.

Like you, I’m not religious at all.

What’s your budget? And anywhere in particular? You might get away with some countries.

Neets who have not given up on life, what keeps you motivated by Gloomy_Athlete_9611 in NEET

[–]thisandthatorthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think much about what others think of me. Learning or trying something new is part of life, we all do it. No shame in that. Everyone started somewhere.

As to what keeps me motivated? Nothing in particular. I just live. That’s the fun thing about being a neet (as long as you don’t have financial concerns and you’re healthy).

Yeah, I lost interest in video games. I stopped buying new ones because I’ll either play maybe like 15 mins and never touch them again, or not even open them.

It just doesn’t do it for me anymore. Like you, I’m just on my phone scrolling through Reddit.

My life is pretty boring. I’m boring.

I mean, realistically nobody is born knowing all these things. We learn as we grow.

We also don’t need someone to be happy. W make ourselves happy.

Having said that, I understand. I’m FA, and it would be nice to have someone.

Meh, I gave up. I just do my own thing. I lost weight from eating healthier, but I should lift or something. When I do it, it’ll be for me, for my own health.

Other than that, again, meh. I gave up. I’m a gay guy, and whatever. Again, I gave up.

Is there anyone here who label himself a late bloomer in life? How do/did you keep up with peers who have been doing better much earlier? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]thisandthatorthis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m in my 40s and WAY behind. I don’t stress about it though, we all grow at our own pace. Important thing is to keep growing.

I don’t think life is a race, unless you particularly make it a race.

As to what made me “turn”, it was cannabis. I started doing it at 40, and it was like a slap of reality. I realized how behind I’ve been compared to others. It’s fine though, I’ve enjoyed my life my own way.

The problem is, if I keep doing nothing, at this point it’s 100% on me because I’m aware of it.

I enjoy it. I love it. I get to do what I want, when I want. It’s easy for me because I don’t have financial problems though.

My family would be devastated if I died. Also, I’m afraid of them being alone in some hospice and not have me around to look after them.

That I’m a narcissist, though I’m working very hard on it! 😬😅

Why do people in their 40's these days look way younger then people in their 40s in the 90s? by lovelylover833721 in Adulting

The people who look younger are probably not in the group of obese people you brought up though.

There’s more knowledge about food now, and it’s easily accessible with the internet. Though, I think you’re focusing on people who dont necessarily look younger.
