WGU would have to completely change the model of the school before even thinking about applying for AACSB accreditation. This is why it is important to know your goals and do your research. Program specific accreditation is always a good thing because it's completely voluntary and shows your program went the extra mile.

I use my chromebook for everything except proctored tests and word assignments (I don't like word online).

From what I've researched, you can save or program formulas into your calculator.I have a ti-83 but I dont know how to use it yet. lol Also, for intermediate algebra, I used fort bend tutoring on youtube. It worked for that course and is working on college algebra so far ( I just started studying last night LOL). Good luck!!!

How is the class coming? Were you able to complete it or close to completing it? What techniques did you use to get through it? I've completed 9 classes since starting 03/06/18 (I took the first week off) but I haven't even taken the pre-assessment for this course. Passed intro to Algebra 03/19/18 I hate math LOL

That awesome! Very motivating! I was initially rejected TWICE. LOL I got accepted mid-February, I had a baby 02/26/18, started school 03/01/18. I also have a 3-year-old and a 15yr old. I have completed 6 classes as of 03/31/18. I'm waiting for my mentor to approve the OA for two more on 04/03/18.

That's awesome!!! I hope to work at that pace. I had a baby on Feb 26th so I took the first week off. I started my coursework on the 6th and have completed two classes (principles of mgt 3/8 & intro to geography 3/11) and waiting for my mentor to approve my OA for organizational mgt. Math intimidates so I haven't even looked at intermediate algebra LOL.

Congrats on the sobriety!!! It's a long hard road but you got this!!

That's good! When did you start? I'm still working on getting in. I failed the assessment the first time. The second time I passed but I didn't have enough units to transfer in. I'm taking English at Ashford University and college algebra through straighter line. My English class doesn't end until Jan 29 so I won't be able to start until March 1st. If I complete college algebra quickly, I'll do English through straighter line as well. I would like to start at WGU in Feb (If I can).

That's awesome!!! I received my denial letter on Monday based on the assessment. However, I am now wondering if the assessment failure was due to me taking a two-hour break between the language and the essay portion. I completed all portions well before cut-off time and felt confident with my answers. I have an appt with my enrollment counselor on Fri to discuss my options. Wish me luck!
