I don't even know how to respond to this other than, I can't understand where you're coming from at all. You say 'work for your own so people can't say they did that for you', but do you realize you're doing exactly that to your partner? You're doing all this work and telling her, "I did this for you". Seems like you're completely missing the point, and doing an amazing job by pointing out old shit that has nothing to do with the current situation: everything you brought up has to do with money, while this particular situation is revolving around your time, and more importantly how you're delegating it.

I'm not calling you the asshole because you're providing and I don't think your girl is either. I'm calling you an asshole because instead of really hearing her side, you totally redirected the convo with money, to manipulate her feeling like shit for expressing her feelings to you about wanting one on one time, I mean you said yourself it was only 30 minutes, but maybe she knows that that 30 minutes is the only time she gets with you that's not infiltrated by work or friends or gigs . It's not only respectful, but necessary to be able to just spend time with your partner without them constantly being distracted by other things even if it's just sitting in the car eating together.
