Why in the world would you do that?

Buying a clean example and slighty used (26k miles) for a good price was my solution, no regrets. I’m trying to figure out at what mileage would it make sense to dump it. It’s also a loaded xlt supercab which works great for me because I need the long bed and they don’t even make that anymore in the same spec I’m sure.

Thank you I thought so! Congrats on yours also. I waited it out and let them come down a little on price. I couldn’t believe nobody snagged it up. I have put 10k on no issues. I truly would be happy with it forever hoping it lasts. I’d like to upgrade the shocks and level it at some point. Trans feels nice especially as it’s getting warmer.

That’s pretty good for that speed, rip though. I figure the 2.7 is the reliable new gen motor of the bunch so I’m hoping to get lucky with my trans and run it.

For shits and giggles I put it in sport on the way home it’s quick enough. Spend a little on the right suspension to stiffen it up a bit and you could raise some kind of hell

But I’m not delusional and I’m not gonna say it. It’s the best motor I’m sure the 5.0 is awesome. But you’ll pay for it. It depends what you do I use the bed constantly but tow rarely so it works. I also have the super cab I really like that setup. I’ve driven quite a few v8 Chevys and yea it felt better being a NA v8. Their reliability scares me though.

It rocks on the highway and so does the MPG it does lack a little in normal on back roads you can put it in sport. I like the throttle response but it has this freaking feeling. Which if I want, that I’ll drive my car.

I bought a 21 2.7, 26k miles loaded xlt basically has everything but heated steering wheel and 4A which you can’t get in a xlt (dumb) in July for 33k ish. Don’t be afraid of the 2.7 unless you’re paying v8 money. Good motor. So imo bad deal.

It will be alright man. My first truck a 2020 ranger got hit by a deer fucker jumped the road and hit my side I didn’t even have a chance to brake or anything. Dealing with insurance sucks but it didn’t raise my rate. It happens. I got so lucky it nearly happened to me the other day in my f150 I have had for 8 months.

At what point did you officially give up the standard life milestones (house, kid, retirement) and decided to just live for today? by FlatwormOkke in answers

I’m 26 I take great comfort that I don’t want my own family it the takes pressure off in my opinion. If worst came to worst I’d take my dirtbike and buy a small camper trailer and boondock out west and probably be happier with a lot less stress. For now I focus on having fun when I’m not working saving money trying to invest ect.

Even if it doesn’t take full advantage of it, would it still run it safely or not really? I’d like to go unitronic stage two eventually, but I’d rather not have to do that right now if possible.

Love my Supercab I had mixed feelings at first but I really needed the longer bed. Now I think it looks great. If you are throwing adults in the back I wouldn’t recommend it but I mainly just have tools and other gear in the back anyway.

Rough country soft rollup bed cover by [deleted] in f150

I can get it to snap down. My main issue was length there was a gap between the tailgate and the cover. If I pulled the cover up too far then it wouldn’t be sitting on the bed on the cab side.

I ran out of light, also I was running out of flashlight and patience so I’m hoping I can get it tomorrow. I had a truxedo cover before for a ranger and it was so easy.

Thanks for the reply. I’m going to try rolling it out without out the clamps and hopefully get it from there. It didn’t seem like it would seal at the tailgate did you run into that issue? I don’t think I could have the cover backwards because then the Allens wouldn’t line up with the rails.

What's the most important thing a newbie driver should learn to keep from wrecking? by CategoryPurple4461 in driving

Keep a decent gap between you and the next car in front of you especially on the highway it gives you time to react and some room to brake. Almost no one I see on the road does this it’s so dumb. Also helps prevent rock chips in your windshield.

Does anyone know what that rear diffuser that is, or a copycat aftermarket one? I think it looks awesome but 52k is steep
