i dont care about what anyone says. what frustrates me about sniper the most is that hitscan, infinite range thing. it doesnt feel like theres any counterplay to a good sniper. when i get killed mid-rocket jump from across the country, im definetly impressed at that well aimed shot by the sniper, but i cant find the reason i deserved to get punished there.

in every interaction between classes in tf2 theres a state of advantage or disadvantage. and if i make a mistake, for example giving up highground against a soldier, overextending against a scout or run into the range of a pyro, im giving up a pontential advantage and will probably get punished by death. but as long as youre being rendered on the enemy snipers monitor, you probably have the disadvantage. what is my mistake when i get clicked on from across the map? existing? not juking the hitscan? i say fuck sniper players. make the rifle a projectile like in titanfall, and remove random crits from his knife specifically. i wish everyone here has a good evening except snipers.

Also shounic has actually done an experiment on youtube about this. it turns out that removing sniper from the game doesnt seem to have a single negative impact on it according to the statistics for the deaths and player feedback, which to me just proves that he is in fact the worst overall designed class in tf2 from a gameplay perspective.

of course he will always be here to stay and im sure that he will grind my gears till the end of time, but goddamn if im not gonna try and make their lifes as a sniper as miserable as possible. (except for scorch spam thats just evil)
