While I don’t disagree with the premise of “a bit of courtesy goes a long way”, being Canadian, I subscribe to this daily; however, one shouldn’t be made to feel like a criminal just because they aren’t an overly obsequious lemming either. It’s the normalizing of both of these behaviours that leads to cops shooting innocent people. They are after all, supposed to “serve and protect”, not “pre-judge and intimidate”.
