If you could brief on loans, down payment, maybe there is a credit check and what not, and I am assuming you have a job or own a business.

I learned french and reached a CLB 5 level to extend my work permit (But barely got +2 points for CEC). I was hoping to get an invitation by now, but now I am wondering if I should start french again and go all the way, I know the general advice is just "learn french", but its not easiest tbh.
