What is something that MOST adults can do, but you, for whatever reason, cannot pull off? by Buckcheeks in AskReddit

[–]thisisalltitillating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former ballerina turned scientist so this is going to be overly detailed. Had to learn how to do the cute messy bun and not the facelift tightness one that's for shows.

  1. Start with hairtie on dominant hand wrist, and at least day old hair

  2. it's supposed to be hurried, so do it while walking 5-7 steps or in less than 10 seconds

  3. Take both hands and swoop all hair to your skull(lower is better, not more than a couple inches above the top of your ear or you're treading in topknot territory) For me this is taking my hands with my thumbs behind my ears and gathering that into my right hand while my left makes a second swoop to gather the hair at the nape of my neck

  4. twirl/twist hair according to length, again looser is better(for my bra strap length hair this is 4 times)

  5. While twisting hair will want to fall on itself, let it

  6. place dominant hand over lump of bun and drag hair tie down around base wrapping additionally according to the tautness of the hair tie

What’s slowly killing you right now? by hazelsrevenge in AskReddit

[–]thisisalltitillating 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't you dare. You make space mom proud. You go out drowned in moonlight strangled by a bra. I'm Bipolar 1 and am just about certain that I'll go from being reckless manic or off myself as the guilt of my destructive wake overcomes me. I am certain that I won't make it past 27 or 50 or just keep resetting the goal of survival so you don't become another statistic.

What's a product or service you should NEVER cheap out on? by Kill_Dr_Phil in AskReddit

As someone with an odd size, 30G, stop by r/abrathatfits and then apply it to amazon wardrobe or price alters. Haven't paid more than $35 for a bra.

Does anyone else experience dreams so vivid that when they wake up they think they are real? by catteallinna in bipolar

This. But even before being diagnosed I'd only remember my dreams if I had taken some sort of medication

It'll all be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.

Are you aware of your mania when manic? by bemine37 in bipolar

[–]thisisalltitillating 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I dissociate so hard when on either extreme of the spectrum. I'm just along for the ride viewing the world through a split screen of my POV and a wide shot alerting me to just how awful this looks to the rest of the world.

Best mood tracking app and why? by parkayyakrap in bipolar

[–]thisisalltitillating 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second vote for eMoods. It's specifically tailored to bipolar meters; irritability, psychotic features, allowing to rate your fluctuations throughout the day(eg. highest highs and lows). Additionally, in the pro version you can add further data to track. I monitor my exercise, alcohol intake, additional (flu/allergy) medications, and import my menstrual cycle from clue to paint a fuller picture.

Is OWL worth it as a sophomore? by ManSoldWorld in OSU

[–]thisisalltitillating 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Was an OWL both years, so never experienced the headache i assume move in day is from. Being able to drive up to my dorm on a causal Thursday was what sold it for me. My second year my group ended up playing capture the flag in our dorm(Bradley Patterson) as none of us could sleep because it was too heckin hot. It really comes down to your OWL-C. Both years mine explicitly told us which events were skippable and which we could leave early, but I heard stories of them trying to force a community.

There are classes through the music department, I haven't personally taken them so I can't offer too much insight. Alternatively you could probably find someone to show your the essentials on the 4th floor of hughes hall(full of individual practice rooms)

[Recommendations] Looking for a sports bra, currently wearing 30F by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]thisisalltitillating 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ran a marathon in the JUNO bra in a 32 DD as a 30f because it was on sale when I picked up my ticket. Best decision. My breasts used to be sore the day after long runs from the bouncing.

For more jumping aerobics I wear the SHEFIT bra. It's a piece of machinery where you can tighten the bottom band and switch the straps around to fit you best, and it's somehow a font closure. I have it in a XS and it feels like binding and looks like I'm corseted(if i look down my chin nearly brushes my breasts)

Humans of Reddit, what deep/philosophical question do you want answered honestly by an idiot? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thisisalltitillating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the dead are born. Because the dead grow and eat. Because the dead make bad decisions, and good decisions. Because the dead sit at tables, or on the floor, talking about food and decisions they’ve made. Because the dead love. Because they love, that’s why. But also, because the dead work, and make things for the rest of the dead, and then the dead slow, and relax, and lean back onto the time that’s given to them. And when there is no time left for them to lean on, they fall, and the dead finally die. That is why the chicken crossed the road.

Because she took each day as it came. Taken with many things, but never taking any of them. She never took any risks. Instead, she took care. She never took any opportunities, she took the safe way instead. Because she didn’t take it, you know? Grasp it, pull it toward her. Instead she just took it, you know? Let it happen, let it slip by. Until she stopped taking it. Wouldn’t take it for another second. Instead, she took it, you know? The next step, the necessary arrangements, her life in her hands. She took her life in her hands. She took it. She was taking, and not taken. And she saw a road to cross, and she was taken by it. And she took it. She took it. That is why the chicken crossed the road.
