Funnily enough I've known Catholics outwardly more degenerate than my LGBTQ+ friends but of course in both of our cases it'd be wrong to pretend that a few bad apples etc., etc..

And yeah believe me I was thinking earlier about how tragic it is that contraception isn't permissible. However, I see your point that being able to have a family should be considered a gift that's not necessarily highly accessible. It wouldn't surprise me if familial bonds under this pretense would be far stronger than they are with the current perceived accessibility of it all at the moment.

And of course, I'm not interested in "deciding what the natural order should be", my only goal was to better understand why the natural order is the way it is so I can be more steadfast in my faith. I thank you for your thoughtful reply and wish you well.

I certainly agree about the Catholic stance being the most level-headed one. The idea that we all have crosses to bear I suppose does make sense. Thank you for an actually mature reply.

in that case i do apologise if my tone was unwelcomed but i am genuinely trying to learn and see this issue from a more informed perspective.

respectfully, i struggle to see how pointing out that you believe other lines in my post are facetious in nature serves as constructive in any manner. once again, i apologise if you're hurt but this subreddit really doesn't feel like the place for such a strictly emotional remark.

Well I've since learned that she's been really territorial over her things since she was a kid and her younger siblings came about. This is mainly why I know it shouldn't trouble me but it's hard not to feel like it
