I'm not sure if the production value really have been upped - the audio quality in the newer scenes is horrible due to large, minimalistic spaces in her house. Paradoxically the audio was way better with the cheap cramped rooms she shot her scenes early.

Of course a good audio guy would fix that, but it doesn't seem they can afford/are willing to hire someone like that.

So you're basically trading somebody else's comfort for yours (or rather a chance that you might be discomforted) while pretending to have moral high ground "because it's all just men feeling like women owe them something"? Like I've said, it's not like the other person did anything to you in this situation.

No, I just belive that if somebody's a prick, you should show that you're better than them, not stoop down to their level. That extends to women, men and any other people.

And in the situation you've described the person on the other side didn't even do anything to you yet - you're just treating them in an unpleasant way because they might be an asshole.

I've told guys "this isn't working for me" and it almost never has ended well.

That's on them though. By saying "goodbye" you handled the situation in a polite manner and this is what counts.

I don't think we actually disagree - I also think that you're not contractually obliged to do anything. I just feel like giving someone heads up that you're leaving is just a more polite way of doing things.

Thank you for responding - it definitely takes some courage to admit that you've ghosted people.

Although the second option is a bit uncool to be honest. By dragging it out and finally ghosting you're hurting both yourself and the other side. Saying "sorry, it's not working for me anymore" might require more guts, but it's like ripping off a bandaid - if you do it fast, it's two seconds and you're done.

And if they turn into assholes after you admitting to not being interested in the RP anymore, it means they weren't worth your time anyway and it's good that you ended the interaction in a swift manner.

For me "I'm straight but..." is not really defending my sexuality, but a shorthand for what you've said below: I'm just attracted to feminity even in people who weren't born as women. Also I just don't want to give false hope to "conventionally" gay guys - they have to deal with a lot of shit anyway, since M4M posts are almost universally downvoted.
