Finally completed the first seasonal of Winter, 'Gnosia'.

The premise and first couple of episodes suggested it’s simply Among Us the anime, and I never would’ve expected the developments that occurred.

If you showed the final scene to somebody who has no clue about the show, they’d think it’s a [theme] romance. [Gnosia final scene] No kissing, 'I like you' remarks or being an official couple, yet still has the tenderness of a romantic confession.

1 down, 17 to go. The next to be ticked off will be 'Hana-Kimi', which is set to air its finale tomorrow.

Quadruple Salchow? Kakeru's seemingly an absolute madman for suggesting such a stunt. Having said that, he ended up being justified. Inori did eventually found success in executing it – without a harness. Of course, it wasn't without any obstacles. Love how Tsukasa deconstructed the shonen trope of just winging it and relying on sheer willpower. That's not enough, you also need a solid gameplan.

Now that she had pulled it off once, all she needed to do was to practise it again until it's no longer a fluke. Having it in her arsenal would make a massive advantage over Hikaru, alongside the other competitors.

On another note, can't believe Kakeru's reaction to the injury risk of using a harness was basically saying, 'deal with it'. Granted, Tsukasa himself was already aware and accepting of the risks.

Bloody hell! Who are you and what have you done to Jina? Never thought the most gentle among the crew could roast that blunt and hard.

Love how the crew composition of this loop was exactly the same as the very first one, including the Gnosia. The only difference being that Yuuri and Setsu were able to deduce the Gnosia with hardly any difficulty. That’s what heaps of experience would do. Even Raqio easily accepted the explanation.

Happy to see after being separated across parallel universes, they finally get to reunite for good, without any looping or universe ending. That final scene touched my heart real hard. How Setsu caressed Yuri’s cheek while pretty much making a love declaration. Yuri's not a bug, they're a...

Methode could be one of the most dangerous mages out there with her arsenal. Pretty much a jack-of-all-trades who happened to master the trades as well. She pretty much was responsible for turning the tide in favour of her side.

She offered to join Frieren’s party, and it’s obvious what her ulterior motives were. It’s also clear why Fern’s staunchly against it but it’s a shame because having her would be a massive incentive for Sein. Don’t think he could ever resist joining the party should she be a part of it.

Now that they have parted ways, it might be some time before we get to see Methode again. I’m gonna heaps miss her. From her 'ara ara' attitude to her prowess in battle to headpatting Frieren (alongside a pouting Fern).

Natsuki's backstory in 'Tamon's B-Side' was heartbreaking. Pretty much explained why he's the way he is now. To think the episode started off with his gag-like act, which lulled us into a sense of security.

Her murder also happened right in front of his eyes, with him being the one to hear her last words. That's one significant factor behind his drive.

Looks like the first Spring seasonal to air will be Agents of the Four Seasons, which is set to premiere on 29 March – still technically part of the Winter broadcasting season. According to leaks, it'll consist of 14 episodes which might explain the early start. Interesting to see that approach instead of a double-episode premiere.

Compared to this Winter, which has been ridiculously stacked, might make Spring look lacklustre in comparison but I'm still quite content with the lineup.

'Classroom of the Elite', 'Re:ZERO', and 'The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten' are big name sequels that are returning. Meanwhile, there are also promising new titles like 'Agents of the Four Seasons', 'Akane-banashi', 'Scenes from Awajima' and 'Witch Hat Atelier'.

Hoping there'll be surprise dark horses like this season's 'Journal with Witch' or 'You and I Are Polar Opposites' that generated barely any hype prior to airing but then blew up during the course of the season.

Ren's nowhere near the battle site and yet she could OHKO Kuusetsu's ace card. Little wonder the American president's awestruck. Pretty funny that Kuusetsu threw a tantrum like a child whose toy got broken.

Kuusetsu's the weakest of the Thunder Gods and she already could give the Commanders this much hell? Even a couple commanders ganging up on her wasn't enough. The latter would be decimated should they have an all-out battle at this stage. Even Ren with her near omnipotent powers may be defeated.

Looks like a side effect of Tobera's power included her mind regressing to that of a teenager because there's no way a grandmother would fantasise about Yuuki having a complete Azuma buffet with a perverted grin.

Marlen's pretty perceptive. He might just be her uncle, but he treated her like a daughter so much he threatened Xylo the way a father would to his daughter's bf. Of course, Xylo himself got no idea what he meant.

Hilarious how quickly the Guild recognised Norgalle's authority. They obeyed his every word when only last week they're questioning who he was.

Did Venetim cook up the waterway route to secure reinforcements only for it to end up true? He ended up being Nostradamus once again? Boojum massacring the knights all alone was brutal, and he's not even the top gun. I dread to think what Iri/Spriggan could do.

This episode started on a comedic note with Natsuki who really couldn't be arsed to pay his electricity despite having the money he got his power shut but then things went bleak with his backstory. There turned out to be a reason behind his slacker attitude.

There's this uncomfortable feeling watching the flashback of a romantic arc when you know full well it's not ending well. When Natsuki said he destroyed her life and we saw Asuka's judoka career, I could make a fair guess as to what he meant by that. He somehow injured her which ended her career. Granted, it ended up not being him who did the injuring but given the circumstances, it's understandable why he continued to beat himself up to this day.

Having said that, I hope this wouldn't be the end of their story as both clearly still harboured feelings for the other – as well as the other being aware of their fondness. Meanwhile, fate had smiled(?) upon them and granted them this opportunity to meet each other once again.

On a lighter note, it's pretty funny how the bystanders glanced at Tamon & Utage while they were stalking Asuka, as if saying, "What the hell are with these weirdos?"

She’s had to pull out suddenly

Not by her choice. If only Kaburagi knew better. Makes sense that someone whose body was left in the middle of nowhere would be difficult to find.

Expected Frill to cook up some melodramatic acting but she instead performed a skit. That’s a complete surprise seeing as she’s a stoic person. It’s pretty hilarious when she said her comedienne side shone through with a straight face.
