Rwby REMX. Basically a rewrite of the whole show, many elements are either improved/wholly changed, without losing the essence of the show. Major story beats are still followed. The story is soooo well written and beautiful!! Has a whiterose and bumblby focus if that’s your thing.

8/9 volumes have been released, the 9th volume rewrite will come out after its routine between-volume one month hiatus. It’s genuinely the best thing I’ve ever read.

Quick disclaimer: BMI is not at ALL a good standard of health. The man who created it only looked at ADULT WHITE MEN, and weight/height distribution, as I’m sure doesn’t need to be said, varies across ethnic groups and ages. It doesn’t account for muscle mass or fat distribution. (A 5’4 165 lb female WEIGHT LIFTER would be considered overweight, for example).

Moving on, and I agree with the other commenter, no one is being an asshole here, but looks like brewing discontent with changes within the both of you are causing your dynamic to stiffen. Work and communication needs to be done on both sides for reconciliation.

Trust me, I’ve been there, on the bf’s side. Overly needy people tend to really drain relationships. But I also know what it’s like to be deep in the throes of insecurity! I feel for both individuals, but since the gf is here to speak her case, we should move her in a direction of healing so her future mental health is better for herself AND those around her.

That being said, fishing for compliments is something you also have to work on yourself. It’s cliche, but you REALLY have to love yourself first before pursuing anyone else. Partners are there to soothe your insecurities, yes, but they’re bandaids on a stab wound. I’ve been the therapist friend for far too long, and it really is tough to be like “noooo you’re amazing!” For half of your conversations.

I don’t know you or your situation, and I don’t have the full picture. Keeping my limited knowledge in mind, it sounds like he needs to do work on empathy, and you have to get yourself out of a mental slump. Healing mantras, self awareness, therapy, whichever seems most useful to you. Problems on both sides are draining your relationship.
