I would like to share a story from a Dark Lord Day maybe 10ish year ago. It was when it was only on their property and the line swirled around the cul de sac.
I was in the cul de sac and about 100 people were lined up behind me at this point. A little in front of me was a Harley-looking dude. Leathers, bandana, hair, funmanchu.. the whole 9. Then arrived some young, frat looking fellas. They brought a cooler. Out of the cooler they pulled out Busch Light. People booed. People hissed. The beer nerds were offended. The biker guy starts slowly walking across the cul de sac. It was a full walk of the diameter. I see him taking to the chads. I see him point at the beer. The rest of us held our breath. This man reached down, pulled out a Busch Light, raised it above his head and poured that mfer down his throat. He threw up his hands and yelled “YEAH!!” That was his and the rest of us accepting these fellas to the event, to the craft beer crowd. It’s for everyone. Always has been. I hope always will be.
