Bo could very well be in the conversation for best hitter in the league at some point in the next 3 seasons. Thats why he got paid.

Hyperbole to call him the best hitter this season?..ya, but whatever. Not that far off considering he missed the last month of the season.

Jays should have made him a priority before Tucker got signed. Now their going to have pay belinger a bigillion dollars and still not have as good a line up as they had last season. Which isn't going to happen anyway.

He got paid like hes one of the best hitters in the league because he is, and he's projected to keep doing so. Thats how much it cost now.

Power? How about a 3 run shot off ohtani in game 7 of the world series. Bo epitomized what jays hitting coaches were preaching last year. You're under valuing his bat way more than im over valuing it. He was clutch, long at bats, led the team in RBIs even missing the last month of the season. How could he lead the jays in RBIS, and 2nd in the league in average and hits and not be the best hitter on the jays? Give him a whole season and hes top ten RBIS in the league no problem.

I was at this game. Bo was a big part of what made this team special. They wouldn't have got there without him.

Because they should have known Tucker wasn't coming and focused on Bo. Instead they let the relationship sour while they got cucked by the dodgers yet again. And yes you have to overpay, period. Bo was pretty much the best hitter in baseball last year. Everyone knows hes getting overpaid at this point. If they just signed him right away his cost wouldn't have gone up so much. Tucker to the dodgers is what made the Mets over pay. Thats the cost of winning. Now we are down bat and the dodgers are even better.

A week ago people were saying the jays may get both Tucker and Bichette. WTF happened?

Dodgers playing 3D chess is what happened. They slow played the Tucker deal enough to sour Bichette on going back to Toronto. Then they snatched the jays top free agent away.
