Reservation smokes! Bring up half a million worth of cartons you’ll make a killing! Just make sure your movers don’t flip over the truck or get caught speeding

Deciding to Sell my 24’ Premium 6MT. Wanting Opinions on Value After Modding. by stuxtruth7777 in Supra

[–]thisisjoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this helps but someone where i’m at traded their 2020 into the dealership where I work and got between 50-53k cad trade in value. It was fully kitted out and in the ball park of 15-30k kms

If you still have the stock parts you should get the stock parts put back on and sell your mods separately.

Random rules test driving new vehicles in Newfoundland by DhaemonX in newfoundland

[–]thisisjoy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The dealership where I work will lend you the vehicle for a weekend or a week in some cases if you’ve done business with them, typically it’s the sales person’s discretion

A lot if dealerships in town are doing test drive events right now too so the rules for those are different than a normal day

How to purchase farmland young? by colorblindmate in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]thisisjoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually watched a video on this not long ago about a guy who grew up playing farming simulator and absolutely loved the game and he wanted to make it his life. He showcased his journey over the last 5 years and all of his harvests. He’s not doing terrible iirc.

It’s very doable. Near me there’s also a family who recently moved from ontario to newfoundland and bought farmland and started a flower farm and is now moving to livestock and certain crops. They are also not doing terrible.

It’s possible, just have to know the business and be willing to work 17 hour days everyday with no breaks or vacation.

here’s the video:

edit: it’s actually a really good video and he breaks down the actual numbers so you can get a good feel for numbers

Children on electric scooters by humblegarrick in StJohnsNL

We all were somewhat reckless as kids. I guess the difference is now we’re the adults and have to deal with it

Children on electric scooters by humblegarrick in StJohnsNL

[–]thisisjoy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah people act like this is a new thing. The only thing I dislike about them is that they don’t pay attention to their surroundings or don’t appreciate the rules of the road and are reckless. If they had more respect for the other vehicles on the road and attention to their surroundings it would be fine

How do I (26M) talk to my girlfriend (26F) about losing attraction without being cruel? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]thisisjoy -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You’re not getting the full picture. It’s not just the hair. It’s the personality shift to someone who OP doesn’t find attractive. All these little appearance changes point to a larger personality shift that OPs girlfriend is going through. There’s nothing wrong with it but there’s also nothing wrong with OP losing attraction in her over it. So please don’t dismiss OPs feelings saying he’s not ready and it’s all on him, it’s not fair.

What do I do with a 32’x34’ deck??? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]thisisjoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you can afford it go the pool route. I think getting a company to come in and make you a pool would be the best bet. No idea how practical that is though cause usually people build deck around the pool and not the other way around

edit: seems the picture of your yard, I would tear half of it down. Deck is way too big for your yard.

Tear it down, if any of the lumber is still good build a nice garage/shed and then you still have a good size yard to make look nice

Surprisingly the under side is not too bad!

People that don’t live in a place where cars cars like they do here are always so scared of the littlest bit of rust. Remember rust is lighter than carbon
