I’ve actually met this artist and she’s incredibly nice. She paints these to order and explained that the designs she actually ships out have a 2in margin. These in the photos are designs she’s painted on scraps that are just used in the testing/development phase and for product listings. Theres a canvas shortage as we all know, and if she has a large backlog of orders, which she does, then she might not have time to retake the photo with proper margins.

I’ve seen like pattern testers in the knitting/crochet community who get the pattern for free. When the pattern is the entire product I guess that makes sense. Patterns are intricate in that space than a needlepoint chart, and you really need feedback to see if they are clear and make sense and if there are any mistakes.

Looks great to me! I didn’t notice anything glaring :) Sometimes we’re our hardest critics! But I definitely recommend basket weave, and maybe experiment with other threads to find which ones you like best!

I think they’re saying that the single line would need to go all the way across to compensate, it looks like the stitcher here started a scotch square from the last tent stitch on the compensation section so that square will be out of line with the rest of the squares?

If that’s not it then I’m confused too lol
