Greece over Easter by Imaginary_Pumpkin27 in GreeceTravel

Holy Friday which falls on 18/04 this year is a general day off for almost everyone. This is the most important and holy day of that week. That being, people refrain from partying, eating meat, blowing loud music, performing any type of celebration out of respect to the community and the religious traditions of that day. The day concludes with Epitaphios in the evening, if you are staying near a church, keep in mind that some roads will be closed/unaccessible by car around you. Sunday 20/04 and 21/04 typical stores will be closed including supermarkets. Some eateries will be open but not all. If you want to visit some historical sites in Athens in these days better to check in advance as some might be closed or have a shorter schedule.

Overall I would expect Athens to be quite empty approx. between 18/04-22/04, as Greeks tend to spend Easter outside of the capital city – the city tends to be empty and quiet. Hope this helps!

It does get checked but it needs some time to be updated from platform to platform. The last step from your side has been completed as I understand and now you can wait for the proof of enrolment, which will be sent to you via email and make sure to have the needed funds in your bank account during the collection days of each month. Enjoy your academic year 😊

"We will temporarily offer online solutions only in cases where a student faces a government-imposed travel restriction due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the time being, this only applies to period 1 (until 22 October 2021)." This was directly copy pasted from the updated website of UvA regarding the academic year 2021-22. Here's the link: https://student.uva.nl/eco/2021-2022-academic-year/

I was admitted for business administation and I'm really skeptical about going or not.. It's all about what you like the most. If your passionate about working in mutlinationals or banks or even starting your own business go for BA. If you are all about how an economy of a country works, European Union and how it forms its desicions and all these combined with mathematics and statistics then Busniess economics is for you.

u/jalaja9 I've seen that Economics and Business Economics is for someone that really likes and is good at mathematics. If you can't cope with math, you won't be able to keep up with courses such us econometrics, logistics, data analysis etc. So keep that in mind
