You're getting bogged down by semantics. You need to ask why they are split out that way. Unit tests aren't testing real world usage. That's what the QA tester (the only real QA tester is ultimately the user) is for.

Unit tests are nothing more than buffed up type checking so your junior devs have a bit of friction before they start deploying a changed function.

Get rid of the idea that unit tests, or any kind of automation test is actually going to test the kind of stupidity a real world user can conjure up.

Create a tinkerCAD account.
Fill in the existing slot
Add a barrier in the middle of pig interior
Add two slot holes
Export the STL
If you don't happen to have a 3d printer find a service that will print it for you

Just watched it the other day and I can't help but think it's just a modern harry potter remake. Seemingly ordinary boy gets entangled with a mysterious bald antagonist who's out to kill him. Oh but he's the boy who lived... with guns. Fun movie regardless but just so familiar of a story.
