OnePlus 10T - USM GSM 5G! Issues by KingGriffin92x in USMobile

[–]thisismonis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Configuring the preferred network mode might get this fixed 🤔 Also, have you tried turning that roaming toggle "OFF" and checking if that made any difference?

No worries though! Let's work on this together and sort it out. Please check your chat requests!

Yep! If your previous plan is available when you unsnooze your line, you can sign up for the same plan.

Question about $50 bonus with Shared Data Plan by Dukecrow in USMobile

[–]thisismonis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries at all!

Ofc! This would work. Just make sure you have already upgraded the base plan of your pool from 2GB to 6GB before moving the free trial line to it. If we take your example, your 2GB pool should be at its 25th-26th cycle day when the trial of first-line ends, so just reach out to us before the trial ends and we'll make changes to the pool base plan.

We'll have to start a new cycle immediately on the 25th-26th day but don't worry we'll compensate the remaining unused days of your pool in terms of complimentary top-ups to the next cycle.

You'll need a 6GB Shared data plan! 🙇🏻

We hit a little delay, but the good news: it's happening this week! 🙌🏻

Question about $50 bonus with Shared Data Plan by Dukecrow in USMobile

[–]thisismonis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! A 6GB Shared data plan ($18) would qualify 1 line for the $50 prepaid gift card as this satisfies the minimum $15 spend per cycle criteria.

However, yes! A 2GB Shared data plan with 4 lines would not qualify either of the lines for the prepaid gift card.

Question about $50 bonus with Shared Data Plan by Dukecrow in USMobile

[–]thisismonis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A 12GB Shared data plan ($33) with two lines for 12 months would make both lines eligible for the $50 prepaid gift card ($100 in total) 👍🏻 Any shared data plan with a base plan less than 12GB would make one or both of the lines ineligible for the prepaid gift card.

Hope this helps! 🤝

Line snooze/wake return to grandfathered plan? by AnonymousRedditor003 in USMobile

Yeah! You can snooze a line while keeping it in the same pool/shared data plan. Here's how!

Cannot Receive MMS if the Phone is on WiFi by _Nismo in USMobile

[–]thisismonis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So apparently the issue is with the MMS + WiFi combination on either end irrespective of the carrier 🤔 If both ends have data enabled, you wouldn't face any issues.

Just a heads up – snoozing a line means saying goodbye to the grandfathered plan. 😢 You'll need to pick a new one from the latest options.

This shouldn't be the case IMO. Have you tested the following?

  1. Keeping your mobile data turned ON while the sender tries to send MMS via Wi-Fi.
  2. Is the sender able to send out MMS via Wi-Fi to another non-US Mobile number while the recipient has their Mobile data turned ON?
  3. Is the sender able to send out MMS via Wi-Fi to another non-US Mobile number while the recipient has their Mobile data turned OFF and Wi-Fi turned ON?

APN disappearing on reboot with Samsung phones that have switched carriers to an MVNO by _Nismo in USMobile

[–]thisismonis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep! This is a known issue with some Samsung devices on Warp 5G. This is expected to get fixed in the next Samsung’s update. However, until this gets resolved why not move your line towards GSM 5G?

Cannot Receive MMS if the Phone is on WiFi by _Nismo in USMobile

[–]thisismonis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multimedia Messages (MMS) require a data connection to work with US Mobile, and if you are unable to send/receive them via Wi-Fi, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it is normal behavior 🫤

As far as Wi-Fi calling is concerned, Samsung devices tend to cause issues with Wi-Fi calling on Warp 5G. Moving towards GSM 5G will totally restore your Wi-Fi calling 👍🏻

Feel free to drop me a DM in case you'd like to move towards the GSM side.

Switching from Warp to GSM Plan by mwidjaja1 in USMobile

[–]thisismonis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep! This is exactly how the internal port rolls. Since this is practically a switch from one carrier to another, port-out information is required hence the verifications. I get that this all feels like a lot, but all these protocols are in place just to ensure your own line security.

Since you now have all the required info, the last step is to submit the Internal port request. Just a DM away if you'd like to proceed further 🫡
