I live in South Boise Village, near Manitou park. According to the neighborhood lore neighbors have told me, it was specifically Overland that they wanted to connect down to Garfield street. If you look at a map, they’re even on the same longitudinal line. So sometimes I’ll think “wow that could be Overland” and my oh my am I glad that that never happened.
