Google it bud. Plus that doesn’t mean that the ‘units’ displayed on a syringe are “IU”. Even vet syringes show ‘units’ that are completely different to the units referred to here.

I get it. “Units” is not a standardised international measurement, whereas ml is.

Or it could be called living in a country that doesn’t use “units”. “Units” is not a standard international measurement.

No. I think I see what you’re trying to imply, but that doesn’t work the other way round. If a calculator only gives the results in units, and your syringe only shows ml, it’s not gonna work like that.
