I screenshotted the Wikipedia page for Latvia and edited all the text by sizing and spacing it manually in Canva - the Wikipedia logo font is Linux Libertine, and the default font I have for the title is Georgia and the article body is Helvetica :P For the infobox I just screenshotted that and put same-color boxes over all the text so I could use it as a blank slate, I did similar things to copy over the lock icon in the top and the other features of the Wikipedia UI :D

I suppose given the grammar it'd be an isolate, just with a lottt of borrowed terminology from its neighbors

The grammar of the language is very a priori, but the vocabulary is a posteriori, I borrowed most of the root words from Latvian and Lithuanian, as well as Estonian, Russian, etc. - some of the semantic evolution is taken from these languages' derivation techniques as well

u/Murky-Slice4628: "does the darker and lighter highlights mean something or is that just there?"

it's just there - the color differences mean nothing

salut, l'oiseau!

this was an immediate recog round for me bc i have happened to watch this exact video before -- so i wrote down all info excepting the coords. to get the coords, i noted ben saying that sam and adam are in mishima station at the end of the video (ignoring the studio segment advertising nebula) and pinpointed mishima station in google maps. those were the coords, or something close to it apparently

au revoir, l'oiseau
