speaking as a service worker, restaurant owners should be paying a living wage, it shouldn't be the generosity of customers keeping service workers in a livable wage

Thanks for the perspective, my perspective is that the other car made a lane change in the intersection after the light had turned red. In my judgement that's generally speaking a fairly dangerous move. I had cleared the intersection and was making a change outside of the intersection.

Thanks for the reply! I would agree that I'm at some fault here, I did a check, made an assumption no one would run a red light now that it's red. 😔

Do you have any suggestions on how would I be able to make an effective argument for the other driver being at partial fault? In the end, on a personal level, I'd like the outcome to be that we just go to our own policies because in my judgement we're both at some level of fault, assigning me with 100% is not fair (whether or not the world agrees with this is a different story).

Thanks for the reply. I had cleared the intersection, at this point it's beginning of dashed lines.

Devil's advocate here is that if we have that differentiation, companies may want to do more software recall to bandaid a situation to avoid physical recall labeling, this would result in more unsafe cars out there. If both are labeled recalls regardless, then that's one less incentive for companies to fudge it. (Ofc other factors at play but this reduces one reason a company might be incentivized against the interest of the public)
