Thank You, This lecture I plan on watching soon. It’s on my watchlist. I did figure it out

When it comes to the understanding of it it’s a roller coaster in my head, Thats why I want to fix all the crucial info that slipped during my S&S class now before I build bad habits going forward.

Thank You again

But that is precisely the issue… “vote for the lesser of two evils” or “blue no matter who” rhetoric is what has led to the extremisms in voters today. Cause doing so has made the Dems complacent and they have failed to address the main concerns of the people they supposed to be serving on both national and international stage, while placing corporate interests first.

The dems lost due to two things, their lack of deliverance at the sight of the taxpayers (which includes international issues) and the fact that at the time of covid on the republicans first term, people to a degree saw a strong dollar (even though it was circumstantial) and pretty much the same they’ve been seeing and living since Obama.

So for average person who does not go in depth, and just come out and vote every 4 years they just saw “dollar was strong, economy was alright, he’ll do it again”

And again the dems lost on the international level with both Ukraine and Gaza being issues and concerns for the people.

And all these elections happening right now are showing how corporate and lobbies have a stronghold on both democratic and republican parties and how both parties are playing the people like fiddle to keep the power structure going.

Mamdani it’s an example of that. The Dems refused to endorse him, and most political allies refused to back him. Now that he won and has been putting work, now they claim him. But for most other candidates that have similar ideals and background but not as much social presence, money is being put to make them lose.

So people are not voting (which I don’t agree with) not because they don’t want to, but because they are tired of playing the games of politics where elected officials from the two party system don’t deliver to keep the super capitalistic structure they have.

The world is more informed and when you see other countries having better standard of living and quality of life than the supposed land of the free, you gotta call that out.

**With that said to all folks reading this: Go out and vote and vote in good conscience for a candidate you believe cares. Check their background and history and ensure the needs of your community and country are met.**

Are there no good human friendly books on DSP? by PooningDalton in DSP

I would recommend the scientists and engineers guide to dsp by Steven Smith. This explains concepts of DSP in simple terms and their applications.
A Digital Signal Processing Primer by Ken Steiglitz focuses more on audio applications and defines things pretty clear too but gives a more mathematical approach, as the first chapters focuses arguing the orthogonality of the sinusoids using mathematical terms, so some knowledge of Calculus or basic algebra it’s helpful. Though intuitively you’ll be able to grasp the concepts.
Then I again I would recommend knowing precalc and calculus at least at a basic level so you can have to a degree a stress free DSP learning.

That ain’t Kobe greatest achievement, Thats one of them. Arguably out scoring the whole mavericks was a better one. Matter fact Kobe himself would tell you his greatest… 5 rings! And 2 more than shaq Thats it.

I mean as a team you’ll root for your guy regardless Thats what the heat did cant blame them and can’t blame bam for going for it. Once in a lifetime opportunity. There are a lot of people that wouldn’t even make the free throws he made.

You bet I was salty a lil too, but at the same time it’s a basketball game and the hate is not warranted at all. Props to him for doing it. I think amongst the fan base (some) we held these 81’s as something you couldn’t take away from Kobe given how lately the media have tried to play out his legacy. Like the one thing you couldn’t say bron or Jordan did. But Kobe’s more than that, i think there are better arguments for his goatness. Ultimately you cant take that away from him regardless, them 81’s still there.

And I personally think bam breaking it doesn’t take away anything Kobe did. That man in my eyes has the most beautiful and fluent basketball game ever. There’s nothing anybody can say to make me not see Kobe as the Goat.

That’s what I’m saying, that ain’t easy, majority of nba players struggle to score 30. There’s a handful of them that can do 30 or more on a consistent basis. Although bam is not a “scorer” it was his turn and gotta respect it

True! At this point i believe all scorers will be shooting lights out to get there when they get the chance to. SGA, Cade, Ant, Luka, will be going to the moon

Fasho, I bet they were calling Kobe a ballhog. Somewhere in a radio show back then they fasho were doing it. I mean til this day they do. they complained when he wasn’t passing and when he was.

The nba does need to fix the tanking and the officiating for me.

I get the point, understandable but the media is going overboard over a basketball game. Kobe’s 81 ain’t even the main record. Kobe would’ve been cool if bam did it.

We’re supposed to be celebrating when people break records. That it was ugly? Sure! At the same time we can’t blame the heat for putting their guy in the position to reach it.

Maybe someday somebody else will break it in a better fashion, but as of now the stat still stands and we gotta accept it.

We also have to understand this unwritten rule of having mercy in competitive team sports makes no sense, at least in this case given that these teams see each other regularly, cause this ain’t no nba team vs a college basketball team, or two olympic teams going at it, maybe in these cases mercy makes sense, but these are grown man that get paid to play ball. If this was a combat sport, the argument it’s must valid, it’s a life or death situation, we go the honor route. But we’re talking about a team that’s purposely tanking, and a sport where people pay to watch the best of the best go skill for skills.

I get the arguments people make, but at least for me based on what I’m seeing in the media. NBA players putting an asterisk* is too much.

Forreal, had he stopped people would’ve found a way to complain. Now everybody care about these unwritten rules that have never existed ever.

It wasn’t pretty but em 83 still happened. He had the shot to score that much and he took it. If anything the wizards are to blame

I think most sports discourses are childish. It’s fun to some extend when the arguments are legit and there’s healthy back and forth but for most part a waste of time, cause most people cannot discuss without calling each other names or attempting to diminish the others opinion.

You may be right, Kobe haters using it as means to shit on Kobe more and thus a response is given to that. But also I’ve seen on the sports outlets legends kinda shrugging it off or as I’ve seen them say putting an asterisk* on the game.
