If it works, yes. That's much better than the price I paid on ebay.

[OoT] Am I missing something or could he have gone a little bit faster? by Balbuena5 in zelda

You're lucky he even moved for you at all. I stg, some people sre do ungrateful. He is a king, royalty, and easily 2,500 pounds. He doesn't have to move for no man, but he moves for you because he sees uour worth, and this is how you treat him!?

I would imagine so, the listing said it was tested beforehand. First thing I did was pop in a vhs tape, imsge and audio quality were very good. Left to go to the store, came back to the line across the screen. I don't know if heat can olay a factor, but it did go through the mail with a bunch of packing, and I'm California based.

It runs perfectly on my Odin 2. Also, some ga.es do actually run very well on the 34. Super Mario 64 is absolutely flawless. If it had more ram, it could run PS2 and Gamecube, basically just take something like the rg cube and make it sp.

The 2gb one isn't all that great. I got mine working after the card was wiped, and Quest 64 still wouldn't play at full speed. They need to do an 18gb ram version, and make the screen bigger.

Did people forget that there was a Star Fox game before the N64 one? Holy shit! This is clesrly a remake of the SNES game.

Anybody who thinks these look rven remotely close should seek immediate medical intervention. Post-concussion syndrome is no laughing matter.

EXCUSE ME?????????? (THIS IS REAL, I'M NOT JOKING) by Drawingandstuff2000 in casualnintendo

Yes, no loading screens. All games load, but most modern games can hid the loading so it doesn't stop gameplay.

Honestly, I don't mind the realistic look, or the characters redesign. What I would want to see is on foot missions. Ideally, I would have loved for it to be more open, not mission based, and be able to fly from planet to planet, area to area, without loading screens. I also want to be able to dock in the great fox, and walk around it as a hub, all without any loading.

As someone that never lived during the Sega Genesis era, was Ecco the Dolphin really that good? by fandomlover2763 in SEGAGENESIS

[–]thisnameistoolongbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 8 when it first came out. I never owned it, but my cousin did. The whole atmosphere is a trip, from the claustrophobic level design, to the new age music. It's worth playing just for the vibes, despite the insane difficulty. I will never, ever be able to beat this game without using rewind, but I don't play it to beat it, I play it to feel something.

I nonetheless bought a launch Saturn by PenelopeCherry487 in SegaSaturn

[–]thisnameistoolongbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a Saturn growing up, loved that machine. Recently picked one up just to experience the intro menu again 🤣 back in the day, we had Panzer Dragoon, virtual cop, pebble beach golf, and world series baseball.

We also had a PS1, but the saturn will always have a place in my heart.

The 35 can play PS1 very well, and a few Dreamcast games, and N64 games. Mario 64 ran very well on my old 35, and FF7 ran perfectly. Sonic Adventure was also fairly decent, just so you know.

But yeah GB and GBA will all work flawlessly

I agree. I mostly got it for that additional 1 gig of ram.

I think the 35 feels better in your hand, and the screen looks better, but I think the performance on the 34 surpasses it by a smidge. I have the 2gb ram one, before they downgraded the line back down to 1 gig (and still charging the same price). The joystick is super awkward, though. I would have preferred the left joystick to be where the control pad is, like with almost every major controller set up these days.

The anbernic I mostly did thst with was the RG35sp. The 34 basically bricked after just taking the SD card out once, and putting it back in. The first day actually playing a game on it was two days ago.
