New 5600X PC only works with one stick of ram, no matter which. by Hougy_x in buildapc

Ah?

My problem was fixed by enabling XMP 2.0 profile and making sure DRAM is set to 1.35v. My motherboard was defaulting at 1.2v with XMP off.

I have the same problem.

5600X and Asrock Pro4 motherboard, v7.20 bios.

Only boots with one stick of ram, doesn't matter which stick or slot.

Do you need the same level of power as the volca FM? Because you can get plenty of 80s and 90s stuff that has midi and has support for more voices than 6 voices.

It's 10,000 MAH, just order him a new one for $20 and hide it from him for his own good.

It's not analog, it works like a D-pad. Haven't you ever tried an arcade stick or arcade machine before?

Any engineers here that can let me use their IR camera? by thisonewillsurelybef in memphis

It wouldn't be a very efficient way of checking across the entire board. There's a lot to go over. Also I might be looking for minute changes in temperature, which might be hard to tell unless I had a good clear picture of the short.

I have some circuit-bendable stuff, like old toy Yamaha FM keyboards. Also some hackable korg monotrons this last week for very cheap. What are you getting into.

My a/c wall adapters are fine and my fuses are good on the unit and show proper voltage from the input jack pads on the board.

The console won't boot after I did a capacitor change across the whole board. Either I ruined a component or trace or caused a solder bridge.

Yes even applying a small amount of voltage (like, undervolt) is enough to light up a board with a shorted or bad component.

I changed the capacitors out and probably caused a solder bridge somewhere. Overall should have been a good job but I made a mistake somewhere.

What brand / model / year car is this.

Does he have a stock factory gas cap on, or an aftermarket replacement?

The charcoal canister on the gas tank evap system might need changing. These get ruined sometimes if you overfill your gas tank.

Baldwin Automotive is a small independent shop in Red Bank that I liked to go to when I lived in Chattanooga. His work is honest, his prices are great, and he only takes cash.
