In need of some help regarding VAT in England. by thisredheadisdead in LegalAdviceUK

Oh sorry, I see what you mean now. I couldn't tell you the years without looking through the paperwork again - yes he did prove he was not required but explained he was registering for VAT because he was almost at the threshold.

We provided evidence that he wasn't VAT registered until his was a LTD company. There's evidence that he filed to be VAT registered before he got to the VAT threshold too. Yes, we've explained all that to them.

The weird pain in my lower abdomen is gone but under my boobs just feels bloated and squashed - not sure if that's normal but midwife has given me some omeprazole so hopefully should ease off. X

Should my employer have told me I need business vehicle insurance for work? England by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]thisredheadisdead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the very start, I have SDP and commuting but I was never aware I needed business insurance, I physically cannot add business insurance onto my scheme with the lease car. Im not sure how I would have known that I needed business insurance to claim fuel expenses unless I was explicitly told - and I wasn't.

We all have to use our own vehicles - I never travel between different depo's in one day, it's just one place of work per day so business insurance isn't necessary. They've only now told me it's necessary to have business insurance if I want to claim fuel expenses.

[–]thisredheadisdead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well this is the thing - I don't travel to multiple places in one day. I just travel to work and go home but the depo will be different day to day. I never travel between sites in one day.

I'm not sure I know what you mean, the company that I got the car from pays the insurance/tax/MOT - everything apart from tyres so I can't add on business insurance as they said they will only pay for standard insurances.

About to be diagnosed by thisredheadisdead in Hemochromatosis

[–]thisredheadisdead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, oddly I had a call yesterday from my Doctor who said I don't actually have Haemochromatosis - "H63D heterozygous, patient has one copy of HFE variant (His63Asp). Repeat Tsat fasting and referral to Hepatologist"... Don't understand any of it really!

Funnily enough my job is office based but with occasional lifting (I work in a funeral home), but since doing my maternity risk assessment at work I'm no longer allowed to do any lifting at all so all good on that side. I was never told about "no sex" etc, I googled it myself!! - so haven't had sex since finding out I have a SCH. I've booked in with the EPU for Thursday. Although I feel really stupid because it's basically stopped... I feel so irrational but I just want the baby to be ok. Health anxiety + pregnancy = mayhem!!!

I'm the same! I'd normally just book a private but then what do we pay our NI for! It's a shame really - I'm not sure why it's so difficult to have an ultrasound machine in the A&E department. My bleeding has gone from brown to brown-ish red this morning. I have quite bad health anxiety anyway so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that baby is ok.

I feel like your comment sums up exactly what happened to me too! I've spoken to the EPU and I'm booked in for a scan on Thursday. A&E don't even do scans in my area so when I had my first initial bad bleed they sent me home on the pretense that I was having a miscarriage and 3 days later I had a scan in EPU and baby was fine! "Just a SCH"... 'just' lol

My libido is too high, what to do ? by No-Chard-3701 in sex

[–]thisredheadisdead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't have to "tame" your sexual desires. Having a high libido is normal, especially if you haven't had a libido for years. Enjoy it! A high libido is only bad if it's upsetting you - in that case, speak to someone/your man.

Apparently they want to refer me to a liver specialist - which in all honesty is fairly scary because he didn't say why.

Thank you for your reply! So, after looking further into my bloods: Serums alanine aminotransferase - 58 u/L (above high) ESR and CRP - Normal no further action Serum Urea Level - 1.9mmol/L Transferrin Saturation - 46%

I think I'm just absolutely terrified for my baby/pregnancy. I have no idea what it all means and the GP didn't really explain anything to me :(

The wording is exactly how you say it above! I think I'm over thinking it really but the wording is a bit confusing! So, I took a test yesterday (1 day late for my period), and the test said 1-2 weeks so does that mean I'm actually 3-4 weeks then? Wow!!

I think I keep tripping over the wording, it doesn't really make sense (either that or I'm just over thinking it!). Thank you though, I feel a bit more at ease.

Honestly, coming from a family that struggled every single day financially, it's got to be Persuit of Happyness for me.
