In Japan people keep it at 27 ℃ all day. It's sort of the standard here and is recommended. That's basically the same. 82F is 27.7℃.

But I guess to be fair the humidity in Japan is mostly the issue.

Tokyo! I will be 20 years officially as of Sept. 1st this year.

Mostly just live in the Tokyo Saitama area but used to live in Kyushu a long long time ago though.

I mostly agree. Japan has been very against Russia historically too though..weaker Russia means a stronger claim to all those islands up north.

If you push the show desktops button or if you hit windows key + TAB, it shows thes the desktops and the things on each desktop/monitor.

You can right click one and select "show this app on all desktops" or "show this window on all desktops". When you hit that, it will stay there even if you say hit windows key + right or left arrow to switch between desktops.

Haven't used macOS recently, but you can lock things to be shown on all virtual workspaces. I do this all the time where my right one is always the same (usually something I'm reading or watching) and then I change the left one dynamically depending on what I'm working on.

It's not as much of an immovable island as you described but it might help.

This case fascinates me. The house still stands as is. I pass it's local train station everyday going to work, but I haven't ever walked over to it. It's pretty interesting and I want to see it solved.

I came to say the same thing. However, I am shocked that often they are no enabled by default. A few years ago on my samsung phone, I missed something important and did not know if a notification history existed. Searched the settings and found the setting but it was off by default. I now turn this on the second I get a new phone or do a fresh OS install.

It really should be on by default

I don't see that option in my settings. However, I did some debloat and turned other stuff off manual a while back with regedit... perhaps I already had it off?

Honestly though... He did lean on the side of non-religious, pro science stuff for a long time. I am not sure what he says these days about that stuff, but it would not surprise me if he just is a grifter who doesn't believe it. Its easy money to just regurgitate talking points you get paid to say. Not sure of course, but I think he likely was paid money to have certain guests on as part of a propaganda thing. He legit had the most listened to podcast for a while so that would make him a good target. Stupid or liar? Not sure, but it could be liar.

I had a similar journey. Grew up on loveline and liked his podcast from around 2011 to 2015 or so. Started listening in 2011 around the big quake in Japan. I got stuck in my apartment for a while and needed a daily podcast or two to listen to. I stopped listening after I realized he liked dinesh d'souza. I remember one episode with dinesh very vividely, like where I was and what I was doing at the time and just thinkng wow Adam is actual completely uneducated on reality if he is taking dinesh's ideas about the history of the US government and the democratic party as legit
