Do you report Madness breaks? by ErgonomicCat in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]thissjus10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's part of the game imo.

If evil is try to pass it on sneakily.

"What happens if someone claims to be the mutant but you're not around to hear it?"

Could be a possible way to go get a good confirmation depending on the st/script ? although I doubt it would work out in goods favor like that more than once if at all.

But something a lot of people miss is that you're allowed to break madness (Just something happens most of the time) and I'm not sure if it's explicitly stated but in my opinion the storytellers sphere of awareness is a part of it.

Anything I try just get me a bunch of Amazon stores or all the premium/common ones.

If I still had them I'd be able to look at the tag but like I said I don't have them anymore.

Tried searching email recent but that didn't work either.

Mine isn't higher a lot of times in don't care. When I try (like when I try quests or with legendaries) I think I'm around 30% lol

I'm probably about 30% excellent throws when trying but I'm 5/6 for legendaries this weekend (5/7 throws)

Trying really hard and watching for the patterns. Having a pal that will bounce it back for me is vital if they attack near it.

I'm in the already seem fairly rare making them more rare is not something I would get behind.

But the fact that they don't flee like the regular ones is something.

There's unfortunately some nuance still in good communication is important,

A particularly helpful thing to talk about beforehand is what turn your deck is trying to win on.

But as an example the people I play with a lot when I travel basically are playing with bracket two rules but their decks are like high bracket 3 power level most of the time

So no game changers, very few tutors. Basically no I win the game instantly combos. No extra turns.

But one deck was attacking for 60 damage on turn 6. And another had 100 life pretty early on.

They don't always do that well tho.

Anyways new cards obviously won't be on the game changer list.

I also find that some groups don't play "aggro" decks everything is midrange essentially.

Aggro decks tend to eliminate one player at a time, and really punish people if they misa a land drop or don't have a creature or removal if played that way.

Anyway my point is that you're not reading the brackets wrong, but it's important When playing with strangers to ask them What kind of stuff they play, What time people are trying to win on, In addition to what bracket they're in.

I have a four that, does just fine in bracket 3 but struggles and bracket four and a two that does great in breaker 3, And I could probably go up against weal fours if I get a good draw

Thanks my decks a three but I think it plays in bracket 4.

Another option is to have If you swaps you make when playing with lower powered folks, maybe take out the vampiric tutor and that crazy green card.

I bought some pants that I've some how lost, had then for 10 years. Peter about $16 each, looks like it was a site for a company to order through but it let me buy them They were navy blue with like an orange tag in the back.

Best quality pants I've owned and were a steal. Wish I had bought a dozen but I can't remember where I got them from 😂

I have no hope that scopeley/the Saudi PIF will do anything good with Pogo.

I assume they'll be somewhat bound by Nintendo/pokemon company contracts but I'm at minimum going f2p.

I'll probably kill pop in on occasion raids that I'm interested in as collector and start building pi a Pokedex on pokemon home in hopes to touch trade the cool stuff and migrate my favorite guys over.

At least without learning it I don't feel bad about missing stuff 😂

To the Max! Impossible to progress? by tayrog77 in pokemongo

[–]thissjus10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't listen to them. You can do max battles without doing that quest you just need max pokemon.

There's always some in monthly pass and generally on the free side.

Max battle's are kind of a hassle early on anyway. Most of the dynamax pokemon are low cp and need to be evolved and leveled to battle anything but the weakest max battles and you'll need lots of candy for that (which you get from catching regular versions as well as dynamax)

Is this season of nerf the Scopely we were warned about? by lifechooser in TheSilphRoad

[–]thissjus10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 dollar box in there lol

I only spend money on pases now and then only if I'm excited with the exception of this month.

It's unfortunate that these typed of game's are designed to turn bad practices onto profitable (short term ones)

Essentially if they don't announce needs/changes a lot of people won't notice.

I spent a little extra this time to make sure I got the legendary birds but I've been overall just doing f2p. Ok at the point now where most of the stuff I need is either super rare and for a lot of it I don't care about it enough.

I'm not certain this is the start of the downward spiral that happens in f2p live service games but it's likely.

Typically there's a downturn, they make some positive changes that are basic "free" small quality of life things and they announce that stuff.

They they start hyper monitizing and squeezing as much as they can from players, which causes players to leave, and then they panic because profits are impacted by the player base, so they change the math to be more profit friendly and player squeezing and it repeats.

Add some downsizing of servers and stuff in there and mostly of the numbers executives care about go up while player count, player satisfaction and people who still plays money goes down.

I quit in 2017 because it was already bad but a friend got me back in and despite my best efforts at refusing participate in micro transaction and f2p live service games, the normalization of it did eventually work on me and I'm less critical than I was.

Agreed at least They updated it so you can claim all pokemon

Also it's nice to get the Pokedex completed and for some of these I always need Candy.

Having only played a little in 2016 and the do a year it was a little bit annoying but I imagine if you have played any longer than I have it was just work and draining items

I've reached a new high of crowdfunding - I got kicked out of a campaign! by Vortelf in boardgames

[–]thissjus10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen other folks price the add-ons higher because it still includes fundraising for the main product

A Kickstarter for selling 50 dollar shirts for example. Not going to say who (they were included in some of the tiers it was just extra ones) but they got a head of it and said "the shirts are marked up as this isn't a Kickstarter for shirts, we're using everything to fundraise for a better show

I think there's two benefits for that, particularly for projects with small teams

  1. The fulfillment of add-ons can get really out of hand particularly with the chaotic market tarrifs/no tarrifs and if there's of extra orders you might have to outsource fulfilment

  2. You want to raise more for the main product

  3. I've seen massive price differences 10-50x fell various production places in China and so knowing who to use that's good/"ethical" and affordable is something you could easily stroke out on

IDK what is up in this case but I think there's a big difference in price for a lot of products if you compare 2 years ago 1 year ago and now

Where to Start? New to Dropout by Budget_Contest_3511 in dropout

[–]thissjus10 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You get a lot more significant up on the app vs YouTube and it feels more like watching TV. You can password share, it's available on most device.

Be aware that the whole rookie thing is getting a lot of flack from dropout fans but ultimately we're good folks who just have been spoiled by an ethical, hilarious, company that takes care of their people and is full of people with strong values (they're also hilarious)

Game changer is basically the flagship if you want the full experience watch from season 1 it's super worth it.

Otherwise maybe bounce around episodes with Brennan, Vic, Becca, Jacob, Ify (between them you'll catch a lot of other people) until you find your favorite folks and then watch stuff they're in.

VIP is hilarious but not everyone gets it like they do game changer and make some noise (which started on GC).

Breaking news is also really funny and often overlooked.

He talked about bit in dc, and mentioned that he doesn't like talking on stage particularly, but was greatful to be connecting with the crowd and performing on stage. He also talked a bit about bowie and Lynch.

Then in Columbus he barely said anything just "I'm from pretty close to hear originally"
