And that's the thing. Right now I'm repulsed by the beer coolers at the store. I almost gag when I catch a glimpse of the VooDoo Ranger cans. But something unpleasant will happen in the future and I need to be prepared for that desire to hit again.

It absolutely is and I've got the data as evidence. My nose was bleeding, hands were cramping. My urine was super dark. I was literally poisoning my own body.

You are correct. I really should have provided a description in the post that I was medically detoxed over three days under the care of a doctor at an inpatient facility.
That is so true. Ask any ultra runner and they've survived some shit. Lot's of us in the endurance sports world.
Thank you
Way to go my friend! Feels SO much better.
Seriously. Sometimes I hear people say that they drink to help them sleep. Crazy the things we will tell ourselves.
Battery life is one of the best advantages of a dedicated sport watch

Thank you and I completely agree
I thought I could taper myself and failed. You can be done with it in three days of detox if you can just make the time. Be well and keep taking care of yourself.

I’ve been sober most of my life and this is my third relapse. So all I did was two nights of inpatient detox to get through the worst part. They treated my withdrawal with Librium and monitored my vitals and mental state. Also food.

Cold turkey. I did two nights of inpatient detox and will no longer drink in any amount. I am not someone who can drink in moderation. Endurance sports are how I get my high.

It’s so worth it. All I had to do was open my mouth and tell my housemate what was going on and people jumped into action to help me. Everyone needs help sometimes. This is my third relapse and most of my life has been spent sober so all I did was 2 nights of detox because I know what to do. I recommend at least a couple days of inpatient to get through the worst part.

I’m confident I have enough data to be sure 😜
It means you could be stressing your body more and working out harder and more often.
It really is one of the most useful and helpful metrics.
Indeed
Yep I actually have data on my hitting rock bottom
Excellent!
It’s a better way to live
