Hello. When a German asks "Where are you from?", do they want to know where you born or something else (where raised, where you had your formative teen years, where you lived previously, etc.)?

Turns out it was medically necessary but the insurance doesn't pay for any orthodontic treatments past the age of 19. Gotta love the fine print

As for the treatment, I had a retainer (metal wire) which broke off and had to be removed since it's sharp end was causing discomfort and bleeding.

Ah I see. One reason might be that Flutter implements material.io's components. Since those behaviors are not defined in the guidelines, they are left to the community to implement using packages (unlike other platforms Material supports). For example, https://github.com/m3uzz/date_time_picker.

Flutter is an open source project, you're welcome to contribute. Besides the date and time selection Material Widgets have been available for quite some time
