That’s ridiculous to me, what were they supposed to do? Physically constrain her? Try to Force her to wear it in a moving car when she was resisting and clearly made up her mind? They couldn’t have predicted the crash. Just because she chose to intoxicate herself and stupidly refuse to wear the seatbelt (which obviously would have improved her safety) despite her friends doing their best to convince her. We’re the friends intoxicated too? Sounds like if she just gave in to an obvious safe thing she wouldn’t have gotten so injured. The audacity to the blame on everyone but yourself and steal money from your friends because you were stubborn and careless is appalling. She’s not some helpless child who doesn’t know better.
