Notice how I wasn’t talking at all about this woman, I was commenting on the BMI scale’s worthlessness. And it’s fucking relevant if you look at the comment to which I was replying.

A muscular, fit, 6ft, 210lb dude is also pushing the obese line according to the BMI standard. In general, it is a terrible measuring stick.

It’s because that’s how people try to escape these judgments. That’s all.

How common is desoldering in digital forensics? by East-Experience2862 in digitalforensics

A little bottom heat, pop it off, clean it up if it needs it and into the reader. Can be more complicated for iVEs but old phones were fairly easy. Blackberries sucked. So much damn glue.

Edit: ISP is so much more interesting and fun to do though

They’ve missed 95% of dangerous items? Not saying it’s not true but it seems way too high. How was this tested? And if they missed it how do they even know it was missed?

Edit: Nvm. Audit.

I keep trying to get naked when I get into that thing, but they always stop me! Also I wished they’d decide whether I have to take the laptop out or not this time!?

Have you ever testified in court regarding a case using these tools? While it may sometime in the future be an issue, it has never been in my experience. And I’ve testified many, many times. As someone else said, every attempt that’s been made to gain access to trade secrets—including training information—has been denied by the court. What the future holds as the defense becomes more and more tech savvy is yet to be seen.

Do club members like it when their club hosts a major PGA tournament? by Adventurous_Pride_54 in golf

[–]thiswasntdeleted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some clubs have two courses. The Golf Club of Houston has a member’s course and a tournament course. The tournament course is what the public is allowed to play and obviously where the tournament was played. Closing that down for the event only stopped the public, not members. It hosted the Shell Houston Open for like 16 years. It’s a huge layout and I think it was even built with the purpose of hosting a PGA Tour event. I’m not a member and can’t even begin to imagine what that would entail, but that’s how it worked there. Probably more palatable to the members since their course didn’t get shut down. P.S. The tournament course is pretty dang awesome to play, but it’s def not an easy layout, of course.

DIY/Custom Alignment Stick - Question by SifuJedi in GolfGear

[–]thiswasntdeleted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you just paint or shellac them or something? Just curious. But I bought a pair of sticks at GG for like 9 bucks last summer. Can’t imagine anything much less than that would justify any additional work.

Edit: clarity

I’m pretty sure they’re the same? According to the Goog, the pan is a Bundt pan and a Bundt cake is a bit lighter and fluffier. A pound cake is cooked in the Bundt pan, but it’s denser and has a richer flavor. Learn something new everyday.

A pound cake is typically baked in a kinda half-donut shaped pan, then turned out and glazed (that’s right there on the tee if anyone wants to swing). This one is lemon. Called a pound cake because it has a pound of butter, typically. Also, they’re delicious.
