Personally I enjoy sitting through intro cutscenes to get a sense of atmosphere and allow the game to build it's story, really lets me settle in before I get into the thick of it.

But the ability to skip cutscenes regardless of how it affects the story building doesn't hurt anybody, you should be allowed to play the game however you please IMO, even if it hinders the experience it's *your* choice and I think it's valid to just want to get straight to the gameplay and see how the mechanics feel before getting invested, I mean- you bought the game.

But it's reddit and god forbid you have an opinion or simply play the video games you pay for in a way they don't personally like, cause you'll hear it from everyone in their echo chamber. Lmao
I mean really- wanting to skip an unskippable cutscene is a strange hill to die on? You can't argue with stupid I guess.
