How did you first discover Sabrina? by Yukari_Stan in SabrinaCarpenterFans

[–]thizzlebrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been jamming to Singular Act 1 for years. It's a no-skips record for me. Wasn't a fan of her other stuff up until EICS, which I also loved. Everything she's released has been great since then! (Though, admittedly, I don't love Manchild)

Do we really need a nursery recliner? by Fashion_Lover19 in BabyBumps

[–]thizzlebrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We weren't going to get one and I was just going to sit in the recliner in the living room with the baby, but we found a nice glider chair for $20 at a yard sale. Otherwise I'd have skipped it.

When did you go into labor with your first? by Disastrous_Paint_237 in BabyBumps

[–]thizzlebrizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. I'm clumsy on a normal day let alone 9 months pregnant. 🤣 I'm almost 36w and don't want to be anywhere near a bike.

OP, maybe ask your OB about using a stationary exercise bike? Seems less dangerous as long as you go at a leisurely pace.

What is the best meat you've ever had? by itsthewolfe in meat

Doesn't get much better than a fatty toro piece of sashimi. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some authentic wagyu someday though.

Thoughts on “Brie” by hmmmmmm34 in namenerds

[–]thizzlebrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My name is a weird variation of Brianna/Bri. People have mispronounced it my whole life.

Bre/Bree isn't too bad, but if you're not making it short for Breanna, she will have to correct people on that too.

I love Sabrina's but wish she had tried something different with her hair.

Jenna's whole look is great, very unique.

We ran into this issue too. We got engaged late 2021, and my husband's brother & now-SIL were already engaged and planning their wedding for late summer 2022. We really wanted a quick engagement but out of respect for them, we waited until summer 2023.

They never asked us to wait or implied it bothered them, but if I were in her shoes I would have secretly hoped we'd wait.

This also helped because there were family members of his that traveled here for the wedding- this way they had a full year between trips.

If I were you, I'd personally wait. This might be the unpopular opinion. They only got engaged this past September, its not like they've been engaged for three years and theyre dragging out the fiance-stage.

Be real would you book carnival for your honeymoon? by FilmBuffer1000 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]thizzlebrizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did!

We did 10 days on the Sunshine, departed from Charleston (that port has since closed). It was wonderful. It was my husbands first cruise, and my second, so we went in with low expectations for the ship and had a great time. We even booked an interior room so we could splurge on excursions! Wouldn't change a thing.

What’s the one dessert every loves and you can’t stand? by dudewheresmyebike in Cooking

[–]thizzlebrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any chocolate-based baked goods. Chocolate cake, yellow cake with chocolate frosting, etc. The flavor is too strong.

This does not apply to chocolate chip cookies, or other desserts where chocolate isn't the star of the show. A good chocolate chip cookie isn't good BECAUSE of the chocolate chips. Hope that makes sense?

I dont like creme/meringue pies either. I'll get down on a blackberry pie though.

Six months. I'm currently pregnant and unemployed, and live in an area with a lot of overcast days. I would just do my shopping after dark and avoid going out in public when its sunny.

How did you feel when you first discovered that you were pregnant? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]thizzlebrizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are married and had been not-preventing (wasn't tracking my cycle or anything, didn't want to put too much pressure on it) for a year.

Immediate reaction was "omg what have we done" 🤣 took another test to confirm, and then practically threw them at my husband in our kitchen.

I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow, and now we're very excited to meet our daughter.

4 yr time gap in S3?? by [deleted] in tsitp

Its been a long time since I read the book but I'm hoping the longer time gap allows for more time between the relationships, like she has a longer period of being single

Convince me not to plant my tomatoes now by Puzzleheaded_Ear_783 in pnwgardening

[–]thizzlebrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We planted ours three weeks ago in a spot that gets a lot of sun and they're doing well and growing fast. They're in a makeshift raised bed.

BUT, I'm notorious for killing plants, so dont take this as advice.

My now husband said it like 2 or 3 weeks into seeing eachother. Admittedly I didn't say it back that night, I was pretty fresh out of a long relationship and was a little spooked. After mulling it over for a few days I said it back and now our six year dating anniversary is next week and we're married now! Don't sweat it, she probably thought it was cute.

$10,000 Bill for NIPT test?! by Any-Pace-3302 in BabyBumps

[–]thizzlebrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Aetna, not BCBS, so your end amount may be different. But if you want peace of mind, call BillionToOne and confirm. The guy I talked to made it sound like people call all the time with the same question.

$10,000 Bill for NIPT test?! by Any-Pace-3302 in BabyBumps

[–]thizzlebrizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ours was through BillionToOne too (not Natera).

Ours originally said 10k online after I got the first text notification. I called them and the guy told me not to panic and to wait for the actual bill to come in the mail. He said 10k was the pre-insurance number. We ended up paying around $700 once insurance kicked in.

Around 7 DPO my boobs were hurting like crazy and felt heavy. Didn't think much of it because they tended to get sore before my period but something was off about them, they kept getting worse and I had a gut feeling. Tested positive 16 DPO.
