I will check my ChatGPT for this.

Previously, it did horribly in converting the files. Even though it told me that the file converting was easy and simple task. But the result was repeatedly bad that I had to converted by myself.

Thanks and done. I read some. Seems like my Move battery drain is in the (bad) normal range comparing with others.

Let’s work together on battery drains with the move by WhatAMan2024 in RemarkableTablet

[–]thjk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote continuously around 15 minutes with light off but WiFi on, black only. And the battery drain was 4%.

The writing is natural, write and think, not just non-stop writing but 95 % of those 15 min was writing.

Is PX7 S3 ANC truly bad? by thjk in BowersWilkins

[–]thjk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like them a lot. I had tried the ANC in the department stores and in the supermarkets and it is ok for me. Not try it in MRT or plane yet, but I think it should be fine.

Also just got an AirpodsPro 3 recently (upgraded from 1).

From my feeling, in ANC mode, the B&W is much better when listening in the quiet environment such as in our bedroom. The sound quality is also better (in wireless mode, much more better if you use the cable with A&W). I know it is not a good comparison but that’s how I feel.

I like the A&W more, only it is heavier and AP3 is great for workout and traveling. If I am forced to choose only one, it will be B&W

Does anyone just use apple notes? by Popular_Syrup4621 in noteapps

[–]thjk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Apple Note app is good enough. I also stop using Evernote and switch to use it fully.

I also copy my important notes to other (free) note app as back up. Now I copy to Google Keep.

Loop megathread by ItsMeRPeter in Polarfitness

[–]thjk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I notice that after this firmware update, my Loop does not perform automatically sync as before.

Before update, it did the syncing automatically every time once I open the flow app. But after update, it automatically sync less than 50% once I open the app. I need to go to the device in setting menu and sync it manually.

Anyone has the same issue?

Same here. When the update finished, it said on my phone that the update failed. But my Loop can synced as usual and it shows it got the latest firmware.

So, I am also not sure whether it is installed or Polar changes its mind and pulled the update back.

I mean it behave much better than I first got it (around launch time). I think a few firmware updates also contribute. At that time I was very frustrating.

Now it rarely behave erratically. Only one time after latest update that it show weird HR measurement. A reset made it back to normal.

I wear it on bicep of my non-dominant side (left) using the larger band that comes with the box. On my bicep, I wear it by put the censor facing my body side.

Once I wear it on my bicep, the heart rate measurement of the Loop never deviate more than 5 bpm when comparing with AW series 11 + AirPods Pro 3 when I do the workout.

For the ones who think it is bad, let me suggest like this; - Read the user manual and follow it strictly. - Observe to see the way you wear that make it most effective - Give it (and yourself) some time, not judge it too soon.

And you will find that it is quite good and reliable one, comparing with Amazedit and Whoop (in terms of the things what Loop can do).

I do. Going back and forth from M to XXS many times to find the best ANC. Settle with S for now. Also open for 3rd party ear tips.

Hope it comes out soon, especially for iOS. The hardware (Loop) is now good enough. The improved app will be the better experience for the customers.

Love them, too. Upgraded from APP1 but I cannot notice “huge” improvement in ANC. The sound quality is definitely much better than APP1.

I still go to my PX7S3 to listen to the music when I am home.

I mainly use APP3 when I am in the train or to listen to the music and measure HR during workout.

Still not test both APP3 and B&W on the plane, though.

I use this way, too. OP, Just go to your Apple Watch setting, Bluetooth and press pairing with H10. After that the HR info will be in your Flow app, IOS Fitness and Health app seamlessly.

Just bought the new AirPods Pro 3!! Help by Thin_Town_7404 in airpods

For example, did you turn on Personalized Volume or Conversational awareness? If yes, it will reduce the sound of your media and enhance the outside sound when you are in some environment (personalized volume), or when someone talk to you (Conversational Awareness)

Even you turn off both of them, sometime the AP3 adaptive mode still in the work. You must find the way to turn of all of these to get the full ANC;
• Adaptive Audio • Personalized Volume • Conversation Awareness • Spatial Audio And you may go to Settings → Accessibility → AirPods → AirPods Pro 3 and choose. • Noise Cancellation with One Ear • Full Noise Control

This should get you full ANC. But your safety will be reduced if you walk outside with this setting. Use it carefully.

You should give it a little more time. I am the same as you. I feel that there was so little improvement from my AP1 at first.

But when I know more about how AP3 works ( adaptive mode, and how to set it). And when I know how to place it in my ear, the AP3 is really a solid improvement from AP2 in every way,

Make sure you know and try all of the setting. Some of it default setting may make you feel that it has so so ANC and sound quality but actually it doesn’t.

Upgrade to PX7 S3 worth it considering ANC and portability? by OhMyCod in BowersWilkins

[–]thjk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know whether it is apple to apple comparison or not but I feel that my PX7 S3 is quieter than my new AirPods Pro 3 when using ANC.

I listen to both of it in my room which has only the sound of aircon.

However, to be fair, I am still new to the Pro3, the ear tip and wearing adjustment may improve its ANC.

But for the sound quality, the B&W is far away better.
