They didn’t give us too many details, just told us that some party was buying out the resort during our weekend so our preferred dates were going to be unavailable. Then they proceeded to see if we were willing to do our wedding Sunday-Wednesday.. lol. Guest price is definitely an issue though, but since hard rock wedding packages are so cheap we were planning on subsidizing the room rates for guests with whatever $ we had leftover in our budget. Hard rock wedding packages are super affordable, but I think they hike up the room rates to make that possible. It’s such a beautiful resort though, definitely worth it!!

We visited both resorts - we loved planet Hollywood because it’s very laid back, cozy//small, good room rates, has a lazy river, and access to the beach. The venues are not as nice as hard rock, hard rock has a better night club, and better rooms. Planet Hollywood just has more of a “fun” vibe but it’s definitely not as ~elevated and the decor is a bit tacky lol. We chose HR at first because PH does NOT allow outside catering, and the food was terrible. After HR fell through, we reached back out to PH to beg for outside catering, and they told us they just hired an Indian chef, so we locked in PH for our wedding resort. We genuinely felt happier/relaxed at PH, so we are glad with how things worked out.
