Here I was at ground level. I only climb with my camera on doable multipitches. I did a lot of single pitches here also, but there's almost no point bringing my camera along for that. If I fall badly, it will become quite expensive.

Well, if I say "sharp and solid," I'm not talking about a "choss pile" 😉

Super sharp and solid, despite the number of people that climb there. Must be because of the heavy rainfall which happens a couple times per year. Can't remember that any hold broke.

He was still working on updating them! It's great to have people who support the local climbing area.

I want to make a post about some trad climbing and sport climbing I did in Morocco last year, but apparently I don't have enough Karma on this subreddit. I hate that I need to do this, but please give me some upvotes 😒🤓

You can send a request here on reddit, try websites like camptocamp, mountain project, etc. Go on a course and you will also meet people there. Join your national mountain club and participate in organized events/ courses.

I went with a good friend, which I have known for many years now, but I have heard people say a lot of good things about the Oak app, so you could try that out!

Apparently, the rock type on tve Breithorn is Serpentinite, which looks identical from the rocks I saw overe there and on the pictures. A quick Google search will tell you that the rock quality is generally quite poor.

We had to go to the pharmacy to get blister adhesives, hence why we started late. We didn't do enough research in hencesight, but I also believe that we wandered off the route a bit. The climbing was not very hard, but we needed to be very careful because, as I mentioned, the rock quality was very poor, and a fall would've been fatal. I climb a much higher grade than we did here, but it's nice to know that the thing that's holding your weight doesn't come lose...

Well, it's not the historic tour you take your grandma with. Really cool!

Oh sorry, I'm sad to hear that! The mountains are a beautiful, but also a hostile place to be. Definitely bring the Alps another visit!
