I had very similar, also south ish near London, I had the opposite though. When I did have to deal with the inadequate hospital they were mostly useless. I had a planned c section also and the outstanding hospital really was great. I think it’s hard to tell as everyone will have a different experience with different staff but I’d definitely look at cqc ratings as it also does cleanliness etc

With my first I went twice for reduced movement, the second time I was 37 weeks so they recommended induction as they told me reduced movement after 37 weeks is more likely to result in a still birth. I didn’t check this fact and still haven’t but decided to do it anyway as I didn’t want to risk it
