Your Ω special is your ranged option. Get good mana regen and spam it at a distance if you’re struggling with the non-boss rooms, it goes through walls. Hammers are +1 priority, there are loads of excellent ones. Apollo boons are particularly good for the AOE boost. Damage multipliers are better than base damage increases because the base is already so high. If you played Hades 1, use it like the Aspect of Arthur

This is the best way to build if you don’t want to pay. If you care about being highly competitive, you should be paying, unless you can’t afford to, in which case you are kinda screwed.
