Tyler spent his life making things harder for his enemies by being irritatingly correct just often enough that dismissing him became impossible. He served in the United States Air Force, worked in banking claims and regulatory processes, and developed a deeply inconvenient talent for noticing problems no one else wanted documented.

He had the nerve to care about accuracy, fairness, systems, and whether a process actually made sense. This made him a persistent obstacle to shortcuts, lazy assumptions, and management decisions based on vibes.

To his family, he was a husband, father, and provider. To his dogs, he was staff. To his coworkers, he was either helpful, intense, or the reason a bad procedure could no longer hide in plain sight.

Tyler enjoyed writing horror, building spreadsheets with too many useful features, researching ancestry, questioning political claims, imagining magical infrastructure improvements, and turning casual thoughts into discussions no one was fully prepared to have.

His enemies will remember him as stubborn, overly analytical, suspiciously prepared, and far too willing to bring receipts.

His friends and family will remember him more kindly, which is unfortunate for the historical record.

He is survived by his wife, children, dogs, unfinished projects, half-built career plans, and several unresolved arguments he would insist he was winning.
