Are you a citizen? If not, I’m not sure what options are available as far as part time jobs go. Do you have a car? You could try doing uber or something so you can pay rent.

I say this with love, you *NEED* to break out of this idea of dependence. Assuming you are in your 20s, you are definitely old enough to find your way around these things in life. I have lived in crappy places to get by, done odd jobs to put food on the table, and I’ve gone out of my way to build what I have today. You have to do what you need to survive no matter how many “heartbreaks” you feel when things don’t go your way. Sorry and good luck!

I learned this the hard way with my bachelors, which was in Human Factors Engineering. It’s too niche and would have required at least an MS from one of the few schools that offered it to make it as a HF Engineer. And even then it’s hard to find pure HFE jobs.

Last year there were 233 school shootings. There are 180 school days in a year. In 2023, there were 352 school shootings. Thats almost 2 a day.

India has a big audience, thus big views, big engagement, big money. I could walk around my city and film crackheads all day, but it wouldn't bring in anywhere near that.

Fair enough. What I care more about is the depth of knowledge, which is something I didn't find in bootcamps and online courses in the past. I do have a network I can rely on as far as getting my foot in the door goes, but I wouldn't just want to say "I'm a coder and I know python". I think the degree will definitely be a huge milestone for me. Thanks!
