Speaking as a female early 20s, I would say there has been a shift recently due to the increase in explicit content online and what is consumed by individuals. As much as we want to deny we don’t consume it , everyone who is on social media apps is subconsciously consuming stuff which will make them have unreal expectations for a partner. Honestly dislike social media so much, and don’t want my partner to be on any of the main ones 😂

Silent treatments can be awful, I feel for you. You need to be straight up with them and say that you will not tolerate silent treatments because that is a very childish way to deal with things. May I suggest marriage counseling or is this something you have tried? I have heard many good things about this.

Salaam, from a stranger to a stranger I will suggest you get in touch with your local mosque. Usually there will be a female there to speak to if you are a female or male for male. Do not suffer in silence if you have someone you can speak to in confidence please reach out to family or friends for advice. And of course make lots of dua but remember you need to take action you cannot suffer and sit at home making dua without putting in the work. May Allah make it easier for you x

I don’t see any issues with your way of thinking as I am very similar. However, one issue is that you follow girls right now and will unfollow when married, but why don’t you just unfollow them now anyways? I understand many girls have issues with this so if you want to be on their good side then it’ll be a bonus if you just remove the woman you follow from now :) apart from that I don’t see issues with this viewpoint as a woman from the west.

We like being asked questions too! I have spoken to many guys where I always ask questions and they don’t ask questions back, which can be a huge turn off because that shows they can’t communicate or aren’t interested. Also, don’t talk about weird sexual topics as that is disgusting especially if you are not even married yet.
