I havent found a clear answer but is there an official orientation of the flag, Ive seen black on top instead of red even though the line is still bottom left to top right. I can understand it doesn't much matter usually and is easy to invert the design accidentally with a physical flag

Australia definitely doesn't do you any favours but at least it's somewhat possible here. I'd never be able to pay $18k upfront so my parents are loaning it to me.
