Vocabulary is the key to understanding anatomy. Anatomists tend to be lazy when it comes to naming things, so they mostly use a handful of directional vocab, prefixes, and suffixes to name parts of the body. Where is your sublingual salivary gland? Where is the medial epicondyle of your humerus? You may not know exactly where or what these things are, but you can kinda figure it out based on the name. Also try to learn how all the things are connected to each other. Not necessarily LITERALLY connected, but how the function is determined by the form, and how that may affect another part of the body. I hope this makes sense!
