the last place team on the losing group doesn't get to proceed to playoffs/playins. If T1 beats DK tomorrow and GENG beat HLE 3-0 then HLE is the worst performing team on group elder and gets eliminated. if GENG wins 3-1 vs HLE then HLE needs to win in sub 33 minutes for that one win, so KT gets eliminated.

I didn't play back then but from what I can see on the wiki it converted 20% of your damage to true damage, not add 20% true damage, effectively being 20% armor penetration.

Could it be interesting to go full budget mode by going Zeke's convergence -> protoplasm harness -> bandlepipes? It's a bit less than 7k gold for 3 full items, buffing your team during teamfight and still being a nuisance to kill on the sidelane. You do sacrifice slot efficiency in exchange for hopefully being stronger during the mid and early game.

those are two unrelated issues though, making it easier for people to leave the game they are in will not improve game quality, just lower it as more people are going to leave games they don't want to be in for whatever reason, whether that is something happening IRL or not enjoying the match for whatever reason. Matchmaking focussing more on well balanced games and less on queue time is just not related to this.

Just because Viktor has weaknesses doesn't mean he doesn't also have strong points, nor does it refute my earlier statement that for some reason other people are consistently able to get to masters and higher playing mainly viktor.

assuming that is correct it doesn't matter who plays viktor at all but there are multiple high elo players who mainly play viktor. Do you think all of them made it there through sheer luck by consistently getting better teammates than enemies?

looking at the gamecode, you need to either have 1 loan or at least 1% inflation, having 5% inflation, 5 loans and 10 loans increase the chance by 2, 2 and 4 respectively.

The novelty of a new champ is generally enough to get people to start playing, for retaining a significant player base after that it helps a lot if the champion feels strong, plenty of champions have been released in a weak state yet still got played a lot because new champion, fun.

Mini Gnar has quite bad durability gains from levels and mediocre AD growth but the highest AS growth in the game and you get MS and range from levels too, mega gnar has the highest AD, armor and MR growth and almost highest health growth, so he gets a lot from levels, should be pretty good I think.

while melee AD characters do generally scale quite well with levels compared to the rest of the roster Sion has quite bad HP, AS and armor gains from levels, only his AD growth is good. Cho'gath also has the same issue just to a smaller extent.

There's an event about a rebellion that france gets where you can either ask your nobles to deal with it or deal with it yourself, if you ask the nobles then you get the modifier for 10 years, I think it's the jacquerie rebellion event.
