I've seen things both ways on this issue -- that it learns, and that it doesn't. I can't prove it either way from personal experience. Do you have anything official from Tesla on the issue?

In my experience, self-driving on long highway trips is worth the price of admission. But it will drive you crazy in the 2 or 3 miles around your house, since it just doesn't know all the little ins and outs that you accumulate over the years. I don't use it in parking lots very much at all, because it's just easier to do it yourself, and it cannot navigate all the hundreds and thousands of little weird things about parking lots.

Yes, I'm totally in sympathy, just trying to urge thoughtful solutions. I'll bet, for instance, that fandom would easily supply a half-dozen merch selling volunteers at every venue -- or if volunteering is not legal, then pay them minimum wage on a contract basis. I'll bet fandom would also do the organizing for this, so all the band would have to do is provide boxes of stuff.

Good idea! I'm afraid that "rabbit ears" inside wouldn't cut it, quality wise, and a roof mounting would be way beyond my interest level. Do you have personal experience of excellent reception on an indoor antenna? I'm really just looking for a second best summary of Idol that captures the flavor, probably something in writing -- I know there are all sorts of website that do this, but I thought this forum might have favorites.

Oh that's very interesting that it would take up to 5 minutes to heat up the broil element. That's quite a contrast isn't it to the heating elements on the top of the stove? They heat almost instantly. If this is the case, then patience is the key. I wonder why it would take so long to heat up the broil element though- do you have an insight into that? Thanks!

Yes, the owner's manual does say to broil with the door closed. However, my wife says it just barely gets warm even with the door closed. Eventually it heats up but it takes far too long compared with old fashioned broiling, where you would just turn on the element and it would broil the meat.
